iXSea manufactures side scan sonars, acoustic releases and mapping software for seabed reconnaissance.
Its side scan sonar system uses synthetic aperture technology to produce an acoustic image of the seabed. Tight integration of the inertial navigation (INS) and acoustic positioning (USBL) systems enables real-time presentation of georeferenced, orthorectified images. Typical applications are Oil & Gas site reconnaissance and debris searches.
